A century of war. Warlords reign the land, their power enforced by rifle-equipped gangs. They're called the "Enlightened", making a reference to the flash that occurs when they fire their guns and therefore bring fear and destruction over the rural population.
Rusyuna is also a Enlightened, a gun expert. She travels the land on the lookout for bountys she can make a living of. By chance, she meets Yajirou, who she can save from a gang of thugs. Yajirou happens to be an expert swordwielder and joins up with her, particulary attracted by her assets.
Follow Rusyuna and Yajirou on their journey in this screwball action series. "Would you like to join me?"
