Kotaro Higuchi lost his mother at a very young age. He now lives with his father, doing the menial house chores while he attends elementary school. However one day, Kotaro meets his new neighbour - Misha, an angel who is new to the world. Her mission is to protect Kotaro from the bad things in life and help him succeed. However, Shia a demon-girl bent on plunging Kotaro into the depths of depression is also sent out into the world. As if things weren't bizarre enough for Kotaro, he learns that Shia and Misha are living in the same house! Will Kotaro be brought to the melancholy gloominess caused by Shia?
